Special forces from Ukraine’s HUR Khimik group attacked a Russian military base in Syria on Sunday, Sept. 15, according to a Kyiv Post military intelligence source. The operation occurred on Aleppo’s southeastern outskirts, targeting a base used for manufacturing and testing strike UAVs and IEDs.
Exclusive footage shows a HUR flag near the Russian base, followed by an explosion and ammunition detonation. Kyiv Post experts believe the blast was likely triggered by a rifle shot hitting pre-planted explosives.
The location and timing of the attack couldn’t be independently verified but seem to have taken place in broad daylight in desert terrain.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who is bogged down in a war against Ukraine, is also having problems in Syria. Local militias have launched a major offensive west of the major city of Aleppo in Idlib province.
The defense of the Russian-Assad troops has collapsed near Aleppo. The militia is conducting a successful offensive and is already 7 km from the city. This was reported by the Russian Z-channel Alex Parker Returns, close to the Russian Armed Forces.
