Drone War: Ukraine – Raw Footage 💣⚔
This isn’t your sanitized, Pentagon-approved press briefing. What you’re about to see is the real deal: raw, uncut footage pulled from the digital battlefields of Ukraine. Drones have fundamentally changed warfare, stripping away the distance and delivering the brutal truth of combat directly to the screen. Forget the talking heads and geopolitical spin – this is about the soldiers, the machines, and the unforgiving landscape of modern war, seen through the cold, unblinking eye of a drone. These videos offer a stark look at the tactical realities, the constant threat, and the lethal dance between technology and human will on the Ukrainian front.
Key Insights from the Front Lines
Precision Strikes and the Ruthless Efficiency of Drones: The footage leaves no doubt – drones are surgical instruments of destruction. We’re seeing Ukrainian forces use them to pick apart Russian armor piece by piece, from Bradleys obliterating BMPs with 25mm cannons to FPV drones precisely targeting engine blocks. This isn’t about massed artillery barrages; it’s targeted elimination of enemy assets, down to individual vehicles and even squads. Video 3 and Video 6 are brutal examples of this efficiency in action.
Urban Combat Amplified by Aerial Eyes: Fighting in cities like Toretsk and Chasiv Yar becomes a different beast when drones are overhead. Every street, every building, is exposed. Video 2 hints at this urban hellscape, where concealment is a myth and the enemy can be watching from above at any moment. The psychological impact of this constant surveillance has to be immense, for both sides.
The Bradley Fighting Vehicle – A Force Multiplier: Several videos (Video 1, Video 3) highlight the effectiveness of the U.S.-supplied Bradley. It’s not just a troop carrier; it’s a mobile weapons platform capable of taking on heavier armor. The footage shows Bradleys engaging BMPs and APCs with devastating results. This underscores the impact of modern, Western weaponry in the hands of Ukrainian forces.
Drone Tactics Evolving in Real-Time: We’re witnessing battlefield adaptation in every clip. From thermite drone strikes on hidden artillery (Video 1) to drones leading surrendering soldiers to safety (Video 5), the Ukrainians are innovating on the fly. Even the Russians are adapting, using Lancet drones in counter-battery roles (Video 4). This is a dynamic, learning war, where tactics are being written and rewritten daily based on drone footage analysis.
Surrender or Die – The Drone’s Ultimatum: Perhaps the most chilling aspect is the drone’s role in psychological warfare. Video 5 shows Russian soldiers surrendering to drones. Think about that for a second. The drone becomes the embodiment of inescapable threat, the judge and jury in the sky. The choice becomes stark: comply with the buzzing menace, or face annihilation. This is a new dimension of warfare, playing on fear and desperation.
Rawness and Authenticity… With Caveats: While presented as "raw footage," it’s important to remember context. Some videos, like Video 4, admit to using animation and sound effects for clarity. Others are clearly edited and compiled. Even so, the core footage – the drone’s-eye view of combat – retains a raw, unfiltered quality that you won’t find in official reports. It’s crucial to be discerning, but the underlying reality of drone warfare bleeds through.
Battlefield Analysis: Drones Shaping the Future Fight
What’s becoming clear is that this isn’t just about drones being part of the war; in many ways, this isthe drone war. They are the eyes, the artillery spotters, the precision bombers, and even the messengers of surrender. The videos reveal a few key trends:
Attrition Warfare by Drone: Ukraine, often outgunned in traditional artillery, is leveraging drones to inflict a war of attrition on Russian armor and manpower. Every destroyed BMP, every eliminated squad, chips away at Russia’s offensive capability. This is a war of a thousand cuts, delivered by buzzing wings.
The Rise of FPV Drones: The mention of FPV (First-Person View) drones, like the "Hornet Queen" in Video 6 and the attempted attack in Video 4, signals a shift towards more agile, direct-attack drones. These are essentially flying IEDs, capable of pinpoint strikes against vehicles and even individuals. This is close-quarters drone combat, and it’s only going to intensify.
Counter-Drone Measures Becoming Critical: As drones become more prevalent, counter-drone technology and tactics are paramount. The Russian Lancet drone mentioned in Video 4 is a direct response to the Ukrainian drone threat. This is an escalating arms race in the skies, with both sides scrambling for air superiority in the drone domain.
The Unblinking Eye
These glimpses from above are more than just combat footage; they’re a testament to the changing nature of conflict. Drones have ripped away the romanticism of war, exposing its brutal mechanics in stark detail. Scroll down, watch these clips, and see for yourself. This is the drone war in Ukraine – unfiltered, unforgiving, and undeniably real.

Bradley destroys BMP with ease as Ukraine’s 47th Brigade battle Russia near AvdiivkaDaily Mail733,672 views | 8,311 | May 2 2024 12:58:05 (950 comments)[ Read more … ]
A US-made Bradley fighting vehicle wrecked a Russian BMP in fighting west of Avdiivka. Drone footage shows the BMP carrying Russian troops to a tree-line they are hoping to seize. The troops are riding on the roof because the BMP has notoriously thin armour. They jump off and run into the trees, after which the BMP tries to escape from the battlefield. But it is caught by a Bradley of Ukraine’s 47th Brigade which opens fire with its 25mm cannon. Though small, the cannon packs a punch and is more than enough to get through the BMP’s shell. After several direct hits one round strikes the BMP’s engine, disabling it and starting a fire. The 47th Brigade said the Russians launched an attack involving two tanks and five BMPs. More footage shows another of the armoured vehicles after it was disabled during the attack. The drone unit of the 47th Brigade was then tasked with taking it permanently out of action. Video shows the moment a drone flew into the back of the vehicle, where the engine is. That caused it to burst into flames and then slowly burn to ashes. Russia has lost a huge amount of equipment in similar attacks since the start of the year. Hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles were lost just to take the city of Avdiivka, and now even more are being used up storming towns to the west. Ukraine is being forced to cede ground because it doesn’t currently have enough ammunition or manpower to hold the Russian advances back. But Russia’s supplies are not limitless and it is expected that shortages will begin to bite in mid-2025 after which it will become very difficult to advance any further. #russia #ukraine #war

The drone then leads the man across the battlefield to a Ukrainian trench where he puts his hands up and is taken prisoner by Kyiv’s men. A second piece of footage shows a similar scene unfolding near Avdiivka, as a lost Russian soldier begs with a drone operator not to kill him while he looks for his unit – and fortunately for him, the drone was an unarmed scout. A third video shows one of Ramzan Kadyrov’s ’TikTok soldiers’ trying to hide from a drone, also near Avdiivka, after spotting it flying above him.
At first the man prays for mercy, but when he realises none is coming he runs to hide, first inside a trench, then behind a tree, and lastly inside a dugout. But he was struck by a second drone shortly afterwards and killed.

Ukrainian Forces Drone Wiped Out Russian SQUAD Pickup Truck After Hit By Mine -Stunning War Footage!TEW22276,900 views | 4,648 | October 11 2024 15:26:28 (107 comments)[ Read more … ]
Our first story covers a Russian pickup truck carrying soldiers toward Ukrainian positions. Despite evading artillery fire, the truck struck a Ukrainian minefield, neutralizing all soldiers on board. Another Russian pickup truck was later targeted by the Ukrainian Black Raven Team’s Hunter drone, flipping the vehicle and forcing survivors into a trench, where they were later eliminated by another drone strike.
In another operation, a Ukrainian FPV drone, the “Hornet Queen,” destroyed a Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle. After the BMP-3 was disabled, Ukrainian drones targeted and eliminated the soldiers hiding in nearby trenches. This success highlights the precision and timing of Ukrainian drone warfare in stopping Russian armored movements.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Russian portable rocket launcher and its operators before they could fire a second rocket. The Black Raven Team acted swiftly, sending drones to ensure complete destruction. In another area, Ukrainian drones targeted a camouflaged Russian ammunition point and BMP hidden in the trees, forcing soldiers to abandon their position before being neutralized.
In Mykolayivka, Ukrainian artillery, guided by surveillance drones, eliminated Russian soldiers attempting to infiltrate the village. Meanwhile, the STRIX Squad destroyed a camouflaged BMP-2 and a mini convertible van used by Russian forces, further weakening their hold in the Kursk region.
These coordinated strikes demonstrate Ukraine’s growing tactical superiority, using drones and artillery to neutralize Russian vehicles, soldiers, and supply lines. Ukrainian forces continue to make significant progress in disrupting Russian operations across multiple fronts.
