The video shows the massive holiday-themed display, consisting of 4,981 drones.

Now that the Line Fire ceased to be a threat thanks to our brave firefighters (it’s currently 75% contained and all evacuation warnings have been lifted), we have an opportunity to catch up on important events that occurred in our mountaintop valley earlier this month.
This year’s Labor Day festivities included a Parade of Lights and a drone show, where Jackie and Shadow made a cameo appearance to the delight of fans. Their favorite “feeesh” was not forgotten either!
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Big Bear Lake Rotary and Visit Big Bear for organizing the drone show as a safer and wildlife-friendly alternative to fireworks. And thank you to John Jackson at Visit Big Bear for designing our beautiful eagles into the show!

The Sky Elements team created the ultimate Vegas drone show for the Big Game this weekend. One thousand drones flew for thousands of spectators on The Strip, creating the largest football game ever played. Gigantic helmets, 400-foot-tall football players, and an end zone celebration that would get a flag on the play are some of the many formations the team flew. As huge football fans, the Sky Elements team knew we wanted to fly an epic drone show for the Big Game. Our Vegas-based drone crew worked diligently through the day to bring this spectacle to life, and we couldn’t be more proud!
The Big Game drone show created a buzz unlike anything else. Yes, that pun was indeed intentional! The show blasted off over Resorts World after the Big Game and delighted spectators on The Strip. The Vegas drone show welcomed San Francisco and Kansas City fans to the Atomic City in a huge way. The drone show formations depicted the largest football game ever, showing players kicking, tackling, and passing the ball. The show concluded with a fantastic end zone celebration, raining confetti on the winning team. Football fans from both teams watched and celebrated as The Strip filled with fans exiting Allegiant Stadium.

The LA Dodgers, in collaboration with Sky Elements Drone Shows, honored the legacy of Kobe Bryant with a drone light show. The Kobe drone show, made up of 824 drones, was a massive display recreating memorable moments of Kobe’s career. The Dodgers’ Lakers Night began with Kobe’s daughter Natalia throwing the first ceremonial pitch to Mookie Betts. Black and yellow Lakers jerseys flooded the stadium, donning the numbers 8 and 24, the two numbers Kobe wore while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. After the game, fans took to the field to get an excellent view of the drone show.
This season, the Kobe drone display was part of the Dodgers’ Friday Night Light Shows at Dodger Stadium. Although Friday night fireworks have been a longstanding tradition, the team added drone shows to the theme-night rotation to try something new. Originally slated for September 22nd, this light show was unexpectedly moved to September 1st with about three days’ notice. The Sky Elements team quickly sprang into action to create what would be the first-ever Kobe Bryant drone light show. “It was a last-minute decision to put this Kobe show together. [We’re] appreciative of all the efforts to make it happen in a short window, so nothing but praise for the Sky Elements team,” said Greg Taylor of the LA Dodgers. The Kobe drone show, set to a beautiful narration, showcased highlights from Kobe’s career in a way like never before.
The Kobe drone show made history for fans of the MLB, Dodgers, and, most importantly, Kobe. The fantastic presentation fully displayed this top Los Angeles, California, drone show provider’s ability. After five successful shows with the LA Dodgers, Sky Elements was proud to go out with this drone display.
