Competition Information: The A2RL x DCL Autonomous Drone Championship 2025, organized by the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) and Drone Champions League (DCL), took place on April 11-12, 2025, at ADNEC Marina Hall in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This inaugural event featured 14 teams from countries including the UAE, Netherlands, Austria, South Korea, Czech Republic, Mexico, Turkey, China, Spain, Canada, and the USA, competing for a $1 million prize pool. The championship aimed to advance AI-driven mobility and establish Abu Dhabi as a global hub for autonomous technology.

The years largest competition of military team drone racing takes place at the 2025 Avalon International Airshow for selection into the ADF team that will represent Australia at the next Military International Drone Racing Tournament to be held in the USA in May 2025.
This drone racing tournament is one of the ADF’s displays held at the Avalon Airshow between March 24th and 30th. The drone racing tournament has been organised by UAS Events with support from local racing communities such as Melbourne Multirotor Racing Club (http://www.vicfpv.com/) and Eastside FPV (https://www.eastsidefpv.com.au/).
